We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our healthcare client located in Toronto. This is a 1-year hybrid contract position. The role involves managing full-cycle recruitment and supporting strategic talent initiatives in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment including job postings, screening, interviews, credentialing, references, and offer negotiations.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and clarify job requirements and recruitment strategies.
  • Source top talent through a variety of channels including social media, job boards, and professional networks.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring teams, and external partners.
  • Provide recruitment data and reports to support internal decision-making and planning.
  • Contribute to special HR/recruitment projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent, relevant HR or recruitment experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience working in a large, unionized, and complex environment highly desired.
  • CHRP or CHRL designation is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment legislation, and collective agreements.
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience and candidate pipeline development.
  • Solutions oriented, creative and a critical thinker.
  • High level of discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.
