Agilus is recruiting for a Bilingual Payroll & Benefits Specialist in the city or province of in Calgary, Montreal or Ontario, Ontario. The Bilingual Payroll & Benefits Specialist will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing across provinces, meeting all goals and deadlines A typical day: Ensure comprehensive management of employee benefits, providing support guidance and processing Generate weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports Prepare, collect, and verify payroll for both salaried and hourly employees, including union and non-union workers Identify and address any payroll discrepancies promptly to ensure accuracy Liaise with department managers and internal teams to streamline payroll operations and enhance communication Handle various projects related to payroll and benefits, ensuring smooth execution and continuous improvement The successful candidate brings: Bilingual French and English A post-secondary degree in administration, business, or human resources is essential At least 2 years of experience in processing payroll across multiple provinces within a large organization, including unionized environments Experience in processing payroll for 300 to 400 person headcount PCP designation in-process or completed is an asset Skilled in using MS Word, MS Outlook, and proficient with spreadsheets and databases, particularly MS Excel Understanding of payroll regulations and employment laws at both provincial and federal levels in Canada Familiarity with payroll systems commonly used in the industry Total rewards: Earn up to $70,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience Enjoy 3 weeks of paid vacation to relax and recharge.
