Our healthcare client is seeking an HR Data Specialist for an initial one-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role will focus on reporting, analysis, and presentation of HR data, with a strong emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and the interpretation of workforce metrics.
Location: North York (Hybrid – minimum 2 days onsite, Wednesdays required)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Compensation: $36/hour
Maintain and update HR scorecard reporting; present data insights to leadership
Review data and conduct analysis
Provide analytical support (dashboards, formula interpretation, etc.)
Use Excel and PowerPoint for detailed data presentation and reporting
Navigate HR dashboards and interpret results
Collaborate closely with colleagues in HR and other areas to explain data findings, trends, and recommendations
Create and deliver sophisticated reports and presentations shared across the organization
Translate findings into actionable recommendations that drive strategic workforce decisions
Build reports with clear insights and share takeaways through storytelling and presentation
Proven ability to manage large datasets and interpret complex HR metrics
Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
Strong PowerPoint skills – able to create polished, presentation-ready decks
Knowledge of Power BI for data access
Familiarity with HRIS systems and ability to navigate dashboards
Strong communication, collaboration, team engagement, analytical skills, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with limited guidance or structured onboarding
Experience presenting metrics on a monthly or quarterly basis
