We’re hiring a Credit and Collections Coordinator on behalf of our client in the transportation and logistics industry. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience managing high-volume accounts and strong communication skills to join a fast-paced, collaborative team.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of 500+ active accounts, ensuring timely collections, resolving account discrepancies, and maintaining clean and accurate records. This role is key to driving cash flow and supporting strong vendor relationships.
This role is an onsite position (5 days/week) at their Mississauga office. 14-month contract with potential for extension.
What We're Looking For:
2–3 years of experience in credit and collections, ideally in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
Experience managing 500+ accounts
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of the full accounts receivable lifecycle
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Transportation or logistics industry experience is an asset
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Manage high-volume accounts receivable and drive timely collections
Follow up with clients by phone and email on outstanding balances
Resolve account disputes and billing discrepancies
Perform account reconciliations and apply payments accurately
Conduct credit checks and support client onboarding
Maintain accurate aging reports and customer databases
Partner with third-party agencies for delinquent accounts
