Senior Project Manager

The Opportunity:
Altis Technology is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a contract opportunity with one of our Federal Government Clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle project management following gating framework.

• Oversee cross-functional teams, track project performance, risks, and deliverables.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Drive projects such as M365 migrations, infrastructure upgrades, SaaS implementations, and SharePoint customizations.

• Report progress, manage budgets, prepare documentation, and present to senior leadership.

Requirements:

• 10+ years PM experience or 5+ years with recognized certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

• Proven experience on IT transformation projects ($1M+ value, 6+ months, 500+ employees impacted).

• Experience aligning with the Government of Canada’s Directive on the Management of Projects and Programmes.

• Strong stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and governance communication skills.

• Experience across agile, traditional, and hybrid methodologies.

• Agile scaling certification (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, Disciplined Agile) is an asset.
