Our client ARLANXEO is seeking a Transport Management Analyst to join their team.
Agilus is recruiting for a Transport Management Analyst in the oil & gas industry in Sarnia, Ontario.

Responsibilities:
Order Processing 1.1) Receive and review customer orders daily via SAP from Arlanxeo Customer service centres. Ensure that order requests are complete and contain all the required information for processing and shipping. 1.2) Liaise with Customer Service reps. within ARLANXEO to request any missing or incomplete order information/documentation and to clarify any unclear requests. 1.3) Process order picking in SAP, based on material type, batch and required number of skids. 1.4) Set up the delivery information and Generate Order Pick List and TM documents from Fiori, ensuring that all documents and order data are in the correct format. 1.5) Create all shipping documentation, Certificate of Analysis, Bill of Lading, Skid Level information and Customs Paperwork as required for each individual order. 1.6) Create all Transportation of Dangerous Goods documentation for the International Maritime Organization if orders are to be shipped from a US Port. 1.7) Coordinate inspection loads, carrier positioning, inspector notification, paperwork preparation and notification to inspection company 1.8) Coordinate with Arlanxeo and third-party warehousing services, the packing and shipping preparation of all orders in a timely fashion, forwarding all relevant pick list, order and labelling documentation. 1.9) Prepare loading confirmation sheets for Carrier pick up and approval, and coordinate with Security that completed forms are faxed to Carrier directly before the load is released from ARLANXEO Inc. 1.10) Confirm transfer orders from third-party warehouse on a daily basis and check all skids out of inventory based on provided Bills of Lading. 1.11) Provide back up support and relief to all other members of the Commercial Services Team, including cross functionality with Domestic and North American Service Focused Representatives. 1.12) Process order and arrange Transportation Chain within TM3 system, accordingly. 1.13) Complete additional documentation for Goods traveling to Mexico, which includes Bond in lieu of standard Customs Documentation. 1.14) Generate manifest manually from template, and include all information relevant to the issuance of the Bond, such as product value, product weight, etc. 1.15) Liaise with carrier to proceed with generation of Bond, including providing the Bill of Lading, Manifest and any other required documentation to the Carrier/Customs Broker in advance of the shipment. 1.16) Receive Bond Issuance Number and include it on all outgoing documentation prior to the product shipping from ARLANXEO Inc. warehouses. 1.17) Complete additional documentation for Food Grade Rubber, which includes notification to the Food and Drug Administration, including PAP Stickers, Bill of Lading, Order Manifest etc. 1.18) Send package of relevant documents to Customs Broker and the Port of Shipping in advance of order to expedite the review and clearance process. 1.19) Receive FDA confirmation number and assign to the relevant order prior to product shipping from ARLANXEO Inc. warehouses. 1.20) Stay current with emerging cross-border security initiatives and ensure ARLANXEO Inc. shipments are in full compliance (e.g. FAST, C-TPAT, FDA, etc.)
Transportation/Logistics Coordination 2.1) Select the transportation carrier for each individual order, based upon the established shipping criteria, cost effectiveness, customer requirements and legal standards. 2.2) Create carrier booking confirmation sheet and liaise directly with Freight Forwarding Vendor and/or carriers the goods to be shipped, location, timing and equipment required for pickups, any requirements that the customer has, the standards of ARLANXEO (such as F.A.S.T Certification of all transport drivers), customs brokerage documentation requirements and arrange shipping times. 2.3) Manage the Transportation Chain in SAP/TM3, including domestic, NAFTA and International shipping legs, with detailed itineraries as required. 2.4) Monitor order pick-ups for timely attendance and follow up with carriers for revised timing and estimated arrivals if initial commitments are not met. 2.5) Monitor overall performance of carriers and report to Freight Forwarding Vendor and ARLANXEO Management any concerns for follow up. 2.6) Arrange all TM3 and Transportation Chain processes, liaising with ARLANXEO Corp. Customer Service centres and carriers to arrange for return of impacted product and materials. 2.7) Coordinate with ARLANXEO Corp. Customer Service when product is damaged or lost en route to the customer, ensuring that the transportation order is cancelled, and replacement product is shipped accordingly. 2.8) Return product in SAP when it has arrived the ARLANXEO Inc. warehouses, including the post goods receipt. 2.9) Receive warehouse evaluation of returned product, including weight and enter this into the Returns Database as required. 2.10) Coordinate with the Sales Representative to receive the usage decision on the product material.
Successful candidates will have:
1-3 years of experience required; 3-5 years of experience preferred.
Experience with export order fulfillment, shipping functions, freight forwarding and customs requirements.
Experience with International Trade laws, regulations and policies preferred.
Working knowledge of and experience in the rubber/chemicals/petrochemical industries preferred.
Strong knowledge of SAP SD/WM/FIORI preferred. Strong computer skills including MS Office (Excel)
Understanding of the transportation industry, including issues, regulations and standards
Post-secondary education related to Logistics, Business Administration or Materials Management – CITT or P.Log designation is an asset
