Our Federal government client is seeking a Workplace Investigator to determine if the alleged behaviours took place. If they did occur, the investigator will determine whether the behaviours constitute a breach of the Code of Conduct and the Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector.


Scope of work: 
  • Ensure that all individuals interviewed in the process
  • Ensure that the parties (complainant and respondent):
    • Are informed of their right to be accompanied by a person of their choice throughout the investigation process and of the role of that person (if applicable);
    • Are given the opportunity to comment on the information gathered that will be used for the
      analysis and conclusions or findings (see: ‘e) Summary of facts’ below).

  • Provide a written statement indicating that they are not in a conflict of interest with respect to the investigation;
  • Write a Summary of facts (Preliminary Report) for rebuttal by the parties
  • Produce a final report

Experience and Qualifications: 
  • Must have a valid reliability clearance. 
  • University Degree 
  • Professional Certification is an asset 
  • 10 years of experience within workplace investigations 
  • Completed at least three (3) investigative projects on workplace harassment OR violence OR and/or inappropriate conduct, in either the private or public sector, as lead, sole, or co- investigator.
