As a Residential Security Guard, there is a high focus on Scheduled Patrols, removing unauthorized individuals, Environmental checks and exceptional customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in a Residential environment.

Responsibilities for Residential Security Guard

  • Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
  • Manage Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
  • Performing Patrol at the Premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
  • Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
  • Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
  • Answer questions in person or by phone
  • Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
  • Maintain a safe and Secure environment
  • Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
  • Remove unauthorized individuals and De-escalate situations
  • Perform environmental checks during Patrol
  • Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
  • Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.

 

Qualifications for Residential Security Guard

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid Manitoba security license
  • First aid certification an asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
  • Must be able to work Nights.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
