The Corporate Services Manager (Communications Manager) plans, coordinates, and manages the PSP Corporate Services Program (marketing, sponsorship, communication, etc.) at CFB Esquimalt. They develop budgets and business plans for the PSP corporate services activities, and controls assets and authorize financial transactions/commitments within an approved budget. The Corporate Services Manager negotiates and manages agreements and accounts for the PSP corporate services activities, manages the Lookout Newspaper and website, and identifies and solicits sponsorship opportunities.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or Advertising or a related field AND several years of experience in sales and marketing or a related field
AND
A valid Driver’s License (BC)
Experience
In corporate sponsorship and sales solicitation
In market research
Knowledge of community newspaper practices
In developing sponsorship packages and contracts
In managing projects
In negotiating and managing contracts
In writing proposals for funding
In promotion, event marketing, media and field marketing initiatives
In budget administration
In personnel administration
