Job Summary:
The Travel Services Reconciliation Clerk is responsible for managing financial reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of travel booking records. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Details:
- This position is a 2 week contract to start, beginning ASAP must be available for possible extension
- This position is paying $26.00/hour
- The successful candidates can work from anywhere within Canada (remote work)
- This position requires you to be available 7 days/week (however you will only work 5 days)
- This position is full time hours
- You must complete excel (Advanced - vlook ups and pivot tables) and outlook testing for consideration
- Lastly, if successful all candidates must complete and clear a criminal background check

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile financial records by liaising with accommodation establishments and matching charges to credit card statements.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records, ensuring accurate transaction tracking.
  • Monitor for potential credit card fraud and report suspicious activity.
  • Maintain and update booking trackers, ensuring all travel bookings are accurately recorded.
  • Utilize organizational tools like SharePoint for efficient data management and record-keeping.
  • Provide excellent customer service to accommodation establishments, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate updates and feedback to improve procedures and practices.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Travel Partners and other stakeholders for support and coordination.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills in English; French is an asset.
  • Previous experience with reconciliations is a MUST.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a virtual team environment.
  • High computer literacy and comfort with digital tools.
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable to changing work conditions.
