This temporary role is responsible for auditing and maintaining promotional data accuracy on our client's eCommerce site. The ideal candidate will ensure products are properly mapped to active promotions, follow SOPs to audit product information (including specifications and availability), and support the back-end setup of marketing campaigns. The work is detailed, data-heavy, and requires a strong understanding of eCommerce systems and Excel.

This is a 3-month contract with a strong possibility of extension. This position will follow a hybrid model with 4 days a week on site (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) in North York.

What You'll Do:

• Audit the eCommerce site regularly to identify missing or outdated product information, including product specs and availability.

• Use standard operating procedures (SOPs) to compare existing site data against current guidelines, making informed decisions to update, remove, or correct content as needed.

• Manage promotional content by ensuring products are correctly mapped to specific promotion IDs in the backend system. This includes uploading relevant information and verifying that promo tags and banners are displayed correctly.

• Collaborate with the Brand Marketing team and other internal stakeholders to ensure promotional campaigns are properly implemented and functioning.

• Identify and document promo mapping errors or inconsistencies and correct them or escalate to the appropriate technical or platform teams.

• Operate within a platform with limited automation capabilities, requiring manual data entry and regular quality checks.

Daily Duties:

• Maintain and update promotional messages on designated days.

• Audit website content daily using SOPs to guide data comparisons and necessary adjustments.

• Prepare in advance for scheduled promotional campaigns.

• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, escalating more complex problems to the technical support team or headquarters.

• Recommend improvements for automation or workflow efficiency when possible.

What You'll Need:

• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.

• High proficiency in Excel; must be comfortable handling large datasets.

• Interest or background in eCommerce is strongly preferred.

• Experience working as a Data Analyst or in an eCommerce environment, with the ability to interpret and manage data effectively.

• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn internal tools and systems quickly.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
