About the Opportunity

As Product Manager / Business Analyst, you’ll join the Service Design and Delivery team to provide digital solutions for a variety of government programs and services.  You’ll collaborate with program owners and subject matter experts to gather requirements and assess options.  You will lead multidisciplinary teams to build custom solutions, and you will work with procurement experts and external resources to implement vendor products. You will be involved in all phases of the product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with government partners to understand their needs and explore options.

 

  • Lead the planning and execution of delivery plans to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished on time.

 

  • Use Agile delivery methodologies to establish ways of working, iteratively deliver against a product backlog, and learn through feedback.

 

  • Proactively manage dependencies, resolve blockers, escalate more challenging risks and issues as necessary.

 

  • Engage stakeholders and team members in contributing to the project deliverables through clear communication, workshops, product demos, retrospectives and other methods.

 

  • Provide digital expertise to government partners throughout the stages of a product’s life cycle and help program owners navigate digital delivery processes.

 

  • Work with partners and procurement experts to execute procurement strategies and facilitate the delivery of vendor products.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT or Computer Science and at least (5) years relevant experience.

 

  • Experience managing complex digital projects with confidence in planning, forecasting, reporting, and risk management.

 

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams delivering digital solutions.

 

  • Skilled at building relationships with stakeholders, managing expectations, and acting as a liaison between business and technical teams.

 

  • Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities to manage complex and competing needs.

 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

 

Valued Assets

  • Self-starter, adaptable, and willing to take on various responsibilities to ensure the successful delivery of products and services.

 

  • Project Management Professional Certification.

 

  • Agile certification such as PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Scrum Alliance certifications, or other
