Summary of responsibilities:
The Analyst, SOC is responsible to support the delivery of CATSA’s mandated screening activities and associated programs. They are responsible for developing SOC foundational programs, maintaining and updating established SOC programs, assisting in the training of new SOC team members, and recommending solutions that contribute to decision-making and the implementation of branch priorities. The Analyst, SOC performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have:
Graduation from a recognized college or university with a specialization in criminology, police sciences, emergency preparedness, public policy, business, communication, or a combination of education and experience relevant to the duties of the position.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a CATSA SOC operator.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting projects or program implementation.
Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities, CATSA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Screening Contractor Manual (SCM), Regional Operations Manual (ROM), and SOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc...).
Strong ability to conduct research, to analyze information and to provide recommendations, both verbally and in formal written documents.

Experience preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
Specific work requirements
Ability to work overtime as required;
Ability to travel as required
Language Profile: BBBB;
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; and
Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
