Agilus is recruiting for a Receiving Inspector, Tues-Sat in the Micro-Electronics Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. The Receiving Inspector performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. They are responsible for performing packaging line and manufacturing inspections, as well as sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. This position starts with Monday - Friday training and transitions to Tuesday - Saturday once completed. Training takes approximately 3 - 8 weeks depending on each individual. Responsibilities: Conducts repetitive inspection of product/materials against known standards, procedures and checklists Identifies and segregates non-conforming material Reads assembly and process documentation Contributes to identifying, articulating and escalating problems or issues for Technical Support or Engineering, and assists in gathering requested information and proof necessary to help establish the root cause of problems and determine corrective action Recognizes discrepancies in documentation or problems with quality, product, or process, and recommends changes Conducts product inspection, documenting as required, according to specific procedures Properly executes on inventory control, cycle counting, and computer transactions Identifies, reads/interprets and applies complex ECO modifications or other instructions • Records data on a daily basis You bring: 1 - 2 years of related experience An ideal candidate has: Strong communication What's in it for you: Weekly Pay Ongoing contract with the opportunity for a permanent position with the client 4% vacation on top of base pay paid weekly Let's connect!
