We are currently seeking a Video Analyst/Security Guard to support our loss prevention clients. This role involves monitoring surveillance systems, reviewing incident footage, and supporting investigations related to theft, policy violations, and suspicious activity. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and capable of working independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

What does a Security Guard/Video Analyst in GTA do?

  • Monitor live and recorded surveillance footage from retail locations to identify potential theft or suspicious behavior.

  • Analyze incidents and generate clear, detailed reports based on video evidence.

  • Collaborate with internal loss prevention teams to support ongoing investigations.

  • Communicate professionally with staff, law enforcement, and other stakeholders as needed.

  • Maintain detailed records of incidents and ensure confidentiality of all information.

  • Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and security standards.

  • Remain alert and focused while working independently at a computer workstation for extended periods.

Qualifications to become a Security Guard/Video Analyst in GTA

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard license
  • Current CPR-C standard certificate as issued by a WSIB-recognized provider
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Available and willing to work full-time hours
  • Experience in loss prevention, security, or video surveillance is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using computers and surveillance software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
