Agilus is recruiting for a BI Developer in the Manufacturing industry in Vancouver, British Columbia. We're hiring a BI Developer – ETL/SQL to design and optimize ETL pipelines, manage complex datasets, and enhance data delivery using SQL and Azure technologies. This role supports cross-functional teams by building scalable data infrastructure and developing analytics tools that drive business insights and product improvements. You will: Deliver analytics capabilities that leverage ETL processes to provide insights into key business metrics. Partner with data and analytics experts to continuously enhance system performance and functionality. Drive process improvements through automation and optimization of data workflows. Build and maintain scalable ETL architectures and robust data models to support evolving business needs. Design infrastructure and workflows using SQL and Azure big data technologies to manage and transform large, complex datasets. Collaborate cross-functionally with Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to align data infrastructure with business objectives. Develop and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient, automated data delivery and processing. Create tools and solutions that empower analytics teams to enhance product performance and decision-making. Successful candidates will have: 10+ years of experience in BI ETL SQL Development or Data Architecture. Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Expertise in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server). Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Enterprise Data Models, and Data Governance. Soft skills: Ability to support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong project management and organizational skills. Familiarity with Azure cloud services (e.g., Synapse, Databricks, Delta Lake). Experience with stream-processing systems (e.g., Azure Event Hub) is a plus. Experience with SQL databases and data ETL tools (e.g., Data Factory, Azure DevOps).
