Our global client working within Philanthropic Fundraising Services is seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Prospect Research to lead our prospect development efforts in support of fundraising. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, this role oversees prospect research and management, driving the identification, assessment, and tracking of potential donors to maximize philanthropic support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead prospect research and prospect management to support revenue goals

• Partner with fundraisers to build a pipeline of qualified prospects

• Facilitate regular portfolio reviews and strategic discussions

• Develop and implement data policies and ensure data integrity

• Provide training and support for prospect management tools

• Deliver actionable insights through analysis, modeling, and reporting

• Advise leadership on segmentation and campaign strategy

• Maintain ethical fundraising practices and confidentiality

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in prospect research, data analytics, and fundraising support

• Proficiency with Raiser’s Edge NXT and prospecting tools

• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills

• Knowledge of donor behavior, philanthropic trends, and financial analysis

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• A service-oriented, collaborative approach and ability to work independently
