Agilus is recruiting for a Millwright Apprentice in the industrial supply services industry in Calgary, Alberta. The 2nd/3rd/4th year Millwright Apprentice is responsible for repairing types of equipment such as airless, lower pressure, finishing powder coating machines, etc. The ideal candidate has a curiosity to learn and grow with the company, with a strong "mechanical repair" aptitude. Responsibilities: Repairs or replacements of mechanical components & machinery Alignment of pumps and motors Rigging and slinging Troubleshooting mechanical machinery Performing work related to the installation/commissioning. Testing and inspection of equipment; as well as providing inside sales, administrative support, and back-up to customer service. Requirements: Experience repairing finishing products Ability to work in an environment with chemicals and solvents. Mechanically inclined, familiar with hand/power tools and repair methodologies. Experience working with some or all of the following: Electric motors, Transformers, Switchgears, Industrial motors, Rotors, Shafts, Bearings, Coils, Armatures, Generators, Switches Great customer service/communication skills to interact with clients.
