Agilus is recruiting for a Sr. Project Manager in the Financial Services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. A leading Canadian financial institution is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic enterprise-level initiative at the intersection of Wealth and Personal Banking. The project focuses on both external expansion through acquisitions and internal optimization to deepen client relationships within existing lines of business—particularly across Wealth, Asset Management, and Private Wealth. This high-visibility initiative involves a pilot rollout with monthly updates to the executive team, including C-suite stakeholders. Responsibilities: Lead a cross-functional initiative connecting Personal Banking and Wealth Management to identify and develop deeper client engagement opportunities. Manage the rollout of a new model supporting advisor and planner collaboration, leveraging AI insights and client transition pathways (e.g., from retail to private wealth). Serve as the primary liaison between business and change teams during the discovery and execution phases. Coordinate and track progress, managing executive-level reporting and steering committee updates. Oversee project governance, risk mitigation, and regulatory alignment, particularly in the context of evolving compliance frameworks. Must have: 10+ years of senior-level project management experience in financial services. Strong background in Wealth Management, Asset Management, and/or Private Wealth. Experience in regulatory and risk environments within financial institutions. Experience in regulatory and risk environments within financial institutions. Familiarity with Agile and traditional delivery frameworks. Strong communication skills with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders. An ideal candidate has: Experience in Retail Banking. Familiarity with AI applications in client lifecycle management.
