As a Learning Advisor, you will apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods. You will create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer. You will provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
The Learning Advisor also researches learning and training methodologies to recommend learning solutions that will meet the requirements and audience needs. You will make recommendations for adjustments to the programs by monitoring learning initiatives and by assisting in the development of measurement tools.
This is an expert role, working as a team where you will exercise your knowledge and skills on a daily basis working directly with the business. Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources, Adult Education, Training and Development, Instructional Design or a related field
Experience
In assessing and identifying learning needs and requirements
In utilizing instructional design principles and practices
In using eLearning authoring packages
In using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
In designing and developing instructor lead classroom/e-classroom and self-directed web-based training
In creating visual aids as support material for training courses
In providing advice and guidance to clients In interpreting and applying policies and procedures
Competencies

English or French Essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
