The Consumer Investigation unit (CIU) Assistant Investigator is an entry-level investigator position. You will conduct investigations into allegations of violations of Alberta’s Consumer Protection Legislation, obtain evidence for purpose of seeking the truth, and taking appropriate enforcement action. Investigations assigned directly to you will generally be a lower level of complexity. You may also work in a team led by more senior investigators who are conducting complex investigations completing assigned investigative tasks.
