Summary

 

This pivotal role within our organization demands a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to manage the intricate aspects of billing operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive lifecycle of billing, from contract management and project code creation to meticulous follow-up and resolution of any outstanding issues. Experience in financial administration or a good understanding of billing processes are essential for success in this demanding yet rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete billing cycle, encompassing project creation to invoice generation.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all billing-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Proactively identify and resolve billing discrepancies, implementing corrective actions promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of billing processes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project codes, ensuring proper allocation of costs and resources.
  • Effectively manage contracts, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Prepare comprehensive billing reports and analyses, providing valuable insights to management.
  • Participate actively in process improvement initiatives, contributing to the optimization of billing operations.

Critical Qualifications

  • Experience in a billing or accounts receivable role.
  • Proven proficiency in utilizing billing software and accounting systems, such as SAP or similar applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Analytical skills to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and formulas.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • English required: interaction with English speaking stakeholders across Canada
