Summary

The Bell Media team is focused on creating amazing and rich experiences for audiences and keeping Canadians connected, informed, and entertained as technology changes at lightning speed. The role involves guiding some of the most well-known entertainment brands in the country through a digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will support as a technical PO two DevOps software Squad in the User Management domain for the Bell Media DTC business
  • These squads will be focused on:
    • Quality, writing the best code, shifting quality assurance left and delivering the best service levels
    • Value, operating a lean organization focused on delivering incremental value to the customer and to the business
    • End to end ownership, accountable for all phases of solution delivery and day-to-day operations
  • Partner with the business to define software technical roadmaps including business needs but also performance, scalability, service level and technical debt requirements
  • Maintain the team backlog
  • Iterations and Program Increment planning
  • Define and document stories just-in-time
  • Define conditions of success
  • Accept stories
  • Understand the work required to build the enablers
  • Participate to team demos.
  • Contribute to the development a new practice for the organization involving the Global Technology Centre supporting one squad in India operating a specific technical domain.
  • Closely work with the Cornerstones delivery team and the enterprise architecture team to consolidate the architecture

Critical Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in the Media industry and solution development
  • At least 5 years of experience managing technical backlogs and roadmaps for software development organizations
  • You can quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, and you have a strong aptitude for innovation
  • You are a team player who can define, establish and communicate their long-term vision, who is adaptable to uncertain and changing needs
  • You are a candidate with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills (A good sense of humor is a bonus!)
  • You’re bilingual (French/English)
