Responsibilities
As a Marketing Cloud Senior Technical Consultant/Developer you will:
• Design solutions to address business needs using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Design cross-platform integrations to enable best-practice architectural patterns for integrating Marketing Cloud into other business platforms (including CDP, CRM, and ecommerce platforms).
• Design and architect custom applications, content blocks, and journey builder activities on the Marketing Cloud platform.
• Provide in-depth technical audits of clients’ Marketing Cloud instances, including proposed solutions for identified issues.
• Provide mentoring and guidance for best-practices in scripting, journeys, API integration and marketing automation processes.
• Provide QA, code reviews and recommendations on solutions implemented for clients by other team members.
• Contribute to documentation to help ensure solutions are well-maintained.
• Design dashboards and reports to help analyze performance and discover where improvements to performance can be made.
Experience Requirements
Demonstrable experience in:
4+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Data integration with data warehouses and data lakes for ETL integration in Marketing Cloud.
• Creating sophisticated personalized content and journeys in Marketing Cloud.
• Good attention to detail and superb communication skills.
• Have current Marketing Cloud Developer Certification. Having the Marketing Cloud Consultant certification is a huge asset
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A passion to become an expert in data-driven marketing automation.
• Must be currently based in and legally eligible to work in Canada and can show proof of citizenship or visa .
• Bilingual fluency in verbal and written French and English is a strong asset.
Expert proficiency in:
• SQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• AMPscript and SSJS scripting languages
• Marketing Cloud SOAP and REST APIs
• Marketing Cloud Connect
• Marketing Cloud data models, including Contact Model, Data Views and Data Extensions
• Familiar with Salesforce CRM (Sales, Service) data models.
• Understand and have experience in planning, segmentation, targeting, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns.
• An understanding of email marketing and metrics.
• Foundational knowledge or experience in Datorama and Interaction Studio is an asset.

Primary Location
Working Arrangement
Salary range is expected to be between
$94,220.00 CAD - $174,980.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
