As a Tactical Mall Security Guard, your top priority will be to maintain a safe and secure environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. Your sharp instincts, situational awareness, and ability to take swift, appropriate action will be your greatest tools.

We’re looking for individuals with a strong presence, excellent observation skills, and the physical ability to patrol a bustling retail setting throughout their shift. From retail stores to the busy corridors of a major shopping mall, your role is to detect potential threats before they become issues and respond with confidence.

Responsibilities for Mall Tactical Security Security Supervisor

  • Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
  • Verify identities and control access to secure areas
  • React quickly to threats or incidents
  • Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
  • Document incidents and actions taken
  • Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
  • Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents

Qualifications for Mall Tactical Security Supervisor

  • 1 year Tactical Hands on experience

  • 3 years supervisory role experience

  • 1 year retail mall security experience

  • Valid Alberta Security License

  • Experience in security, law enforcement, or military is an asset

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations

  • Excellent observational and decision-making skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
