As an Administrative Assistant in the Fitness, Sport and Recreation facility, you will deliver administrative services such as research, data entry and compilation, record keeping, creating presentations and reports, photocopying and editing, proofreading and finalizing correspondence. You will manage travel arrangements, travel claims, and expense reports. You will prepare information for conferences and meetings, maintain minutes and follow-up action items. This is a hands-on role, with lots of interaction with colleagues throughout the organization as well as interacting and providing reception services and general information to clients. The Administrative Assistant, Fitness, Sport and Recreation performs bookkeeping tasks such as preparing, tracking and paying invoices, and processing of public accounts.

Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Recreation Management or a related field AND some years of experience in business administration, or a related field.
OR
High school diploma AND some experience or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered.
