At GardaWorld, we know that detail matters—especially when it comes to uniforms. As a Tailor/Seamstress, you’ll play a key role in creating a polished and professional appearance for our team. Whether you’re completing fittings, making alterations, or ensuring uniforms meet our standards, your skills make a difference from day one. This role works closely with our Brand Ambassador and other internal departments to make sure every employee is uniformed with care and precision. If you’re organized, customer-focused, and experienced with tailoring, we want to hear from you.

What does a Tailor/Seamstress in Toronto do?
Welcome new hires and guide them through the uniforming process
Measure, tailor, and fit uniforms to GardaWorld standards
Crest and badge uniform items as required
Manage dry cleaning for all necessary uniform pieces
Receive, store, and organize new and returned uniform stock
Complete exchanges and refreshes for existing staff
Ensure employee uniform files meet ESA and ISO standards
Direct uniform appointment requests to the Brand Ambassador
Keep the changing area clean, tidy, and professional
Conduct weekly inventory audits
Able to lift up to 30 lbs as part of stock management duties
Qualifications to become a Tailor/Seamstress
1+ year experience in tailoring, alterations, or a related field
Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
Able to work in a fast-paced enviroment
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Products
Clear criminal background
Eligible to work in Canada
