Agilus is recruiting for a Material Inspection Coordinator in the PIpeline Industry in Edmonton, Alberta. Our Pipelines client is seeking a Material Inspection Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis with potential for extension. A typical day: Understand pipeline standards and requirements, review specifications, quality management plan, and supplier quality surveillance plan. Address quality and inspection issues, escalating to leadership when necessary. Review material requisitions, ensuring compliance with inspection plans before awarding contracts. Locate, contact, and manage agencies for on-site inspections, including requesting quotations and purchase orders. Approve inspectors. Manage quality documentation, oversee daily reports, vendor documentation, and ensure adherence to company procedures. Issue and manage non-conformance reports, prepare corrective actions, and facilitate pre-production meetings. Successful candidates will have: 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas sector. Ability to interpret and implement procedures to meet code of construction. Previous inspection coordination experience. Working knowledge of various ASME and CSA material codes.
