Agilus is recruiting for a Project Manager - IT Asset Management in the Gaming industry in Vancouver, British Columbia.
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex initiatives from planning to execution. You'll define objectives, develop schedules, manage budgets, and coordinate agile teams and vendor partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. This role includes overseeing governance, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring quality standards, along with stakeholder communication, resource planning, documentation, and support for compliance and change management.
A typical day:
Managing all aspects of project delivery using standard project management methodologies and tools, including project plans, scope, budgets, schedules, risk registers, and status reports
Leading initial project planning by gathering estimates, defining requirements and user stories, incorporating change management, and establishing clear timelines
Coordinating and assigning tasks within an agile delivery team, and effectively allocating resources to support project success
Ensuring compliance with information privacy, security requirements, and governance processes, and escalating unresolved issues as needed
Monitoring project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with project objectives, including overseeing testing activities
Creating and maintaining accurate documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes for communication, audit, and reference purposes
Supporting additional project-related activities and responsibilities as required across one or more active initiatives
Successful candidates will have:
Strong background in IT Asset Management and Device Management projects.
Experience with ITAM frameworks, cybersecurity and Zero Trust principles.
Proficient in Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Office/SharePoint, and MS Project.
Familiar with predictive, hybrid, and agile (Kanban/Scrum) project styles.
Effective in negotiating with sponsors, product owners, and teams with competing priorities
Deep knowledge of project management tools and methods (scope, budget, scheduling, communication, risk, etc.)
Further additional qualifications:
5 years of significant and recent, related experience in a leadership capacity on complex initiatives, including the ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, manage vendors, manage a budget, and provide guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle in an agile delivery environment.
PMP (preferred) or PRINCE2
Gambling industry experience an asset

$85.00 - $105.00 hourly
