Ready to suit up as a Event Driver

Join GardaWorld Security as we get ready for a major event in the summer of 2025! We are in search of experienced drivers to assist with transporting and handling luggage for our high-profile clients arriving at YYC Airport in Calgary. This temporary role will be from June 15-19 and training the week prior. Take advantage of this incredible opportunity; it’s sure to be one of the major events in Alberta for 2025!

• Full time hours up to 8 hours a day. Individuals selected for this position must be available to work all days of the temporary coverage

Responsibilities for Event Driver

• Transporting luggage to and from event
• Handling the luggage at the required location
• Handle the luggage with care. An approximate number of 3000 pieces of luggage and cargo is expected to be processed
• Be prepared to operate vehicles in or near a free demonstration or protest zone upon request

Qualifications for Event Driver

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Ability to lift up to 35 kg
• Full class 5 drivers license and be able to provide clean driver’s abstract
• Courteous, behave appropriately, drive in a safe manger and not use abusive language
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Able to pass a RCMP clearance background check
• Flexible to work different hours if required
• This position does not require a provincial security guard license
• Professional deportment
• Experience driving cub trucks and/or cargo vans
