404 Veterinary Emergency + Referral Hospital is welcoming Technician Assistants to join our Emergency team on a full-time basis. In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team and helping to create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. This is a 24-hour department, so shifts include daytime, overnight, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in a veterinary setting is an asset but not necessary.

Duties will include:

• Assisting the Emergency team with patient triages and exams
• Assisting the Emergency team with diagnostics
• Assisting with Emergency surgeries - patient prep and prep of the surgical suite
• Assisting the Emergency team with hospitalized patients
• Some reception duties including answering the phones and checking in/billing out emergency clients
• Providing compassionate care and comfort to all patients
