Agilus is recruiting for a Simulation Engineer in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry in Windsor, Ontario. As a Simulation Engineer, you'll work at the Windsor, Ontario facility, focusing on creating and maintaining computer-aided design (CAD) data. Your role involves using simulation tools to design and test processes for making parts, ensuring they meet customer requirements. A typical day: Create and maintain all CAD Data relative to a program as specified by the project engineer and/or customer Creates and maintains simulation and die processes, both 2D and 3D, based on internal and external customer requirements Develops basic to advanced level process proposals based on direction from product design engineering and/or engineering analysis Recommends alternative design scenarios to meet or exceed customer requirements Create and modify 3D surfaces Interfaces with Project Engineering, Manufacturing Division and Customer to meet requirements for assigned project Interfaces with manufacturing Division to ensure that all formability requirements are met All other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned as deemed necessary by Supervisor Successful candidates will have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field At least 5 years working experience in a Simulation Engineer role At least 5 years in automotive and or tooling environment Must be affluent in NX 3d Surfacing Total rewards: Excellent opportunity to work with a leading Automotive Manufacturing Company Full-Time Permanent Role Vacation Pay Comprehensive Medical Insurance
