Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a knack for accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration? We’re hiring a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator for a 6-month contract position supporting a growing portfolio of multi-residential and mixed-use properties across Canada. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced real estate team with the potential for extension.

About the Role

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you'll play a key role in managing the day-to-day AP functions, particularly focused on utilities and property tax billing. You'll join a respected and growing real estate organization managing thousands of rental units across the country. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting, AP-focused role
  • Experience with real estate or property management is an asset
  • Yardi Voyager experience is a strong asset
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with financial systems
Key Responsibilities
  • Process utility, telecom, and property tax invoices: upload, code, and manage approval workflows
  • Set up utility accounts for new property acquisitions and close accounts for dispositions
  • Maintain accurate tracking of utility bills and ensure timely receipt
  • Investigate discrepancies and ensure correct application of payments
  • Collaborate with treasury to resolve unreconciled items
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve issues and support process improvements
  • Support other AP and finance projects as needed
