We are seeking a Senior COTS Application Specialist to provide technical leadership in the implementation, customization, and maintenance of Microsoft technologies—primarily Dynamics 365, Power Automate, Power Pages, and other low-code/no-code platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of fintech and insurtech trends, along with the ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Design and implement web pages and applications using Power Pages and Power Apps.
  • Create automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
  • Develop and support reporting and data visualization tools using Power BI.
  • Provide technical guidance on solution architecture, peer code reviews, and best practices.
  • Integrate Microsoft solutions with third-party platforms using APIs.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery and deployment.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal cross-functional teams to drive technical discussions and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
  • Stay updated with trends and standards in the fintech and insurtech industries.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • College diploma or certificate in Software Development, Computer Programming, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Power Pages are an asset.

Experience

  • 7–10 years of experience in CRM Dynamics and web development, ideally within a financial institution.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM: configuration, customization, and integration
  • Solid experience with Power Pages for portal creation and management.
  • Proven ability to build low-code/no-code solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server and other database technologies.
  • Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-native architecture.
  • Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable APIs.
  • Demonstrated leadership in technical projects and team mentorship.
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering.

Language Requirements

  • English or French essential; bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
