Our client, a leading investment management firm, is seeking a Data Management Analyst to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in financial data management, investment products, and reconciliation. This is a 6 month contract role and is hybrid, 3 days a week in Toronto.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Support internal business partners by managing security master data, broker setups, and various reference data elements
• Ensure data integrity by reconciling portfolio positions, cash, security master details, and pricing across internal and external systems
• Act as the first point of contact for business queries, troubleshooting data issues, and ensuring compliance with data standards
• Participate in new product launches, fund changes, and investment strategy implementations
• Collaborate on process improvements, system enhancements, and global data governance initiatives
• Conduct research and analysis on financial instruments, including derivatives, fixed income, and money market products
• Provide support for cash management by calculating and verifying investable cash across multiple currencies

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, data analysis, or investment operations
• Proficiency in Bloomberg, Reuters, and investment data management systems such as Eagle PACE, CADIS, Aladdin, Charles River, TLM
• Strong understanding of investment products, trade processes, settlements, valuation, fund accounting, and reconciliation procedures
• Ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex data issues
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills required; knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data tools is a plus
