This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced and growing team at BMO ETFs. This role will focus on the day-to-day portfolio management and investment strategy of Equity Index ETFs, Mutual Funds, Segregated Mandates, and CDRs. BMO ETFs is the second largest ETF provider in Canada and we are looking for a portfolio manager for our Equity Index suite of products. BMO ETFs manages 151 different strategies and $136 bln in AUM – this role will focus on the Equity Index strategies (60 strategies and $66bln in AUM).

Manages, evaluates and monitors market investments (e.g., stocks, bonds, private markets, and/or cash) on behalf of clients, who may be individual investors, institutional investors, or the overall organization, in accordance with the investment objectives and parameters defined by these clients. Optimizes investment performance consistent with clients' investment objectives and risk profiles. May include (1) buying and selling individual securities and/or physical assets; and/or (2) allocating assets to third-party managers depending upon the investment approach. Provides input into strategic decision making. Maintains client contact for assigned relationships and presents results.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
