Agilus is recruiting for a Field Quality Coordinator II in the Oil and Gas Sector in Edmonton, Alberta.
The primary intent of this role is to independently take responsibility for the application of quality assurance and quality control practices. Quality management includes adherence to the Project Quality Management Plan, Assessment Plan, KPIs, and Procedures and Work Instructions to be used by the project team throughout the life of the project.
A typical day:
Participates in the development and execution of Project Quality Management Plans, audit objectives and ensures quality issues and audit deficiencies are managed promptly and effectively
Oversees technical processes and solutions with regards to assessing, monitoring, reporting and implementing project quality during project design and execution
Performs or coordinates quality assessments, and reports regularly on all quality initiatives to the Project Execution Teams
Collaborates with Project Management personnel and Support Group / Business Unit personnel to deploy standardized procedures to various project organizations and support project-specific procedure development where they are required
Quality reviews of vendor Material Requisitions, Inspection and Test Plans and Inspection Packages
Communicates with Engineering Consultants, Vendors, Project Engineering and Construction teams for resolution of documentation issues
Creation of project documents such as ITP’s, pressure test plans, weld and NDE matrixes
Performs quality assurance reviews of supplier quality management plans, material equisitions, inspection and test plans and other activities detailed in the Project Quality Management Plan
Successful candidates will have:
NACE/AMPP Level II Coating Inspector Program (CIP) certification
Overnight field visits may include exposure to physical and environmental factors requiring appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Related university degree and four-plus years’ experience OR seven-plus years of previous quality, PLM, construction, records or field operations experience OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience
CWB Level 2 Welding Inspection and applicable Quality management certificates/courses
Valid driver’s license
Applicable construction experience relating to oil industry
