Agilus is recruiting for a Jr.Confirmation Analyst- Oil and Gas in the Oil and Gas Industry in Calgary, Alberta. A day in the life: Drafts, reviews, and sends confirmations for Gas, Power, Emission, and REC transactions within deadlines. Manages incoming confirmation correspondence, notices, and inquiries in the team’s shared inbox daily. Verifies counterparty and broker confirmations for accuracy and resolves discrepancies quickly. Reconciles validated deals in the ETRM system to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Tracks errors or misalignments in the Discrepancy Report and supports monthly reporting. Transaction confirmations for USA and Canada Follows company contract processes, SOX controls, and record retention policies. Responds to internal and external audit requests related to confirmations. Successful candidates will have: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, legal or a related field Minimum of 2-5 years of related energy trading, confirmations and/or contracts experience Strong understanding of confirmation processes, energy contracts and knowledge of commodity markets is highly desirable Experience with ETRM systems such as Endure (preferred), web-based technology, and document management systems Proficiency and intermediate understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Sign Outstanding communication skills Open text, Adobe sign experience What's in it for you: $30.00 pay rate per hour Hybrid Work Model Opportunity to work with one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America Incorporated and T4 options available Weekly payroll Monday to Friday, full time hours One year contract position Let's connect!
