Job Summary:

This position will lead a team of engineers supporting the development and certification of new and derivative aircraft programs, including, but not limited to, the Boeing 737 MAX program. The role requires collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines to support design and analysis activities for various projects. Additionally, this role will contribute to process improvements and initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers working on the Boeing 737 MAX program

• Develop analysis processes, tools, and methods to improve the efficiency and quality of work products

• Support project management by tracking schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and action items

• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluations

• Interact regularly with internal stakeholders as well as external customers such as FAA and EASA

• Collaborating with other engineering disciplines to develop innovative solutions to complex problems

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience required

• Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience with at least 5 years of people management experience

• Experience managing projects in the aviation industry

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Knowledge of aircraft systems and structures

• Ability to obtain a security clearance if required
