Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Designer in the Fabrication Industry in Calgary, Alberta. Our fabrication client is seeking a senior designer to support the design and development of heat exchangers and other heat transfer products as well as supporting junior and intermediate designers in their role. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of heat exchangers and heat transfer systems. Create detailed mechanical drawings and specifications using CADWorx/ACAD/SolidWorks software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure design feasibility and compliance with industry standards. Review and approve design changes and modifications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers. Successful candidates will have: 10+ years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD software. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of ASME codes.
