The Credit Development Service team is responsible for delivering on a range of carbon credit products across several portfolios, to deliver outstanding value and client service to BMO Radicle’s clientele.
Reporting to the Director of Methane Portfolio, the Associate position requires a team member who has direct previous experience in the energy or oil & gas sector, thrives in a collaborative team environment, can meet immediate needs while planning for the future and strives for continuous improvement, all while being client obsessed.

Core expectations and responsibilities of the role:
Be client obsessed: understand that our clients are at the center of everything we do, and build systems, structures, tools, and product collateral that optimizes our clients’ experience.
Be our clients’ biggest advocate: build strong relationships, set clear expectations, seek out answers to their questions, share their feedback and encourage action. You will represent BMO to our clients, from contract through to project end-of-life, and directly influence their impression of and desire to continue working with our organization.
Follow BMO Radicle client monitoring requirements: ensure monitoring practices meet technical requirements established by the protocol, regulations, and/or BMO Radicle’s Credit Development team.
Execute client campaigns, including implementation and registration of new projects and collection of monitoring data and revised inventories for existing projects.
Ensure client data is reviewed in a timely manner and concerns are communicated quickly and clearly, particularly during active campaigns.
Be a collaborative, responsive and active member of a motivated, engaged, and positive team environment. Have high expectations of self and of teammates.
As needed, support implementation of data quality and controls processes.
Qualifications:
4-8 years of experience in greenhouse gas reduction projects, carbon credit markets, emissions management, and/or related fields.
Technical, engineering, or scientific background (chemical/mechanical engineering, petroleum engineering/diploma, environmental sciences/engineering, instrumentation, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills across cross-disciplined and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
Proven experience with project management/implementation success across multiple stakeholders and/or jurisdictions.
Familiarity with jurisdictional and sectoral standards and regulations in Methane.
Examples/Keywords: greenhouse gas, Energy Transition, Sustainability, TIER, NPRI, GHGRP, OBPS, CFR, LCFS, WCI, MRV/MMV.
Salary:
$95,000 - $110,000 CAD
