Our client ARLANXEO is seeking a MRP Planner to join their team. Agilus is recruiting for a MRP Planner in the oil & gas industry in Sarnia, Ontario. The company’s core business is the development, manufacturing and marketing of high-performance rubber for use in, the automotive and tire industries, the construction industry, and the oil and gas industries. ARLANXEO is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saudi Aramco. The Sarnia location is the headquarters for ARLANXEO Canada Inc. A typical day: Forecast, schedule, order and monitor all raw materials for the butyl unit, including packaging materials Monitor and replenish raw material and packaging materials for production needs. Ensure accurate, timely purchase order creation according to the Production plan & detailed production scheduling. Verify supply availability of raw materials and packaging versus changing Operating plan & detailed production schedule and pro-actively identify issues. Provide MRP constraints to Global IBP Manager for S&OP process. Actively participate in weekly IBP meetings. Maintain accurate raw material and packaging inventory data (in SAP), including MM transfer postings and consumption on process orders. Daily, or more frequent, posting of goods receipt of butyl production on packed and unpacked process orders, including monitoring and correction postings of raw material consumptions (COGI, back flushing). Maintain good working relations with suppliers in respect to 'on time and in full' supply (short notice, equipment availability issues, service issues). Maintain SAP master data for SAP Production Planning module including process orders (e.g. BOM), new material creation & maintenance. Attend and actively participate in the Butyl Production meeting. Successful candidates will have: Looking for 3+ years relevant work experience Experience with SAP Strong communication skills Total rewards: Competitive compensation 3 months contract position with possible extension Mon - Fri - 40 hours per week
