ERP Specialist – Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Business Central

We are seeking an experienced ERP Specialist with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central. The ideal candidate will have strong C/AL and AL programming skills and a background in IT Business Analysis. This role focuses on supporting, customizing, and optimizing business applications, ensuring smooth system operations, and enhancing business processes. A key responsibility is assisting end users in accounting and finance functions such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Payroll. Strong technical writing and documentation skills are essential.

Location: Toronto/North York (On-site)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Business Central solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy Business Central extensions and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application errors and data entry issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration of Business Central with enterprise and third-party systems.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and version control to maintain system efficiency.
• Develop custom reports, pages, tables, and workflows within Business Central.
• Provide training, user support, and assist with UAT and QA processes.
• Document business requirements, workflows, and system processes for implementation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Business Central.
• Proficiency in C/AL and AL programming for development and customization.
• Strong background in IT Business Analysis with the ability to bridge business and technical needs.
• Experience in ERP system implementation, testing, and user training.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of business processes.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, databases, and software development lifecycles.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong multitasking and project management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
