Our client, a dynamic and well-established energy organization, is looking for a Credit Administrator to join their team!

This full-time, 6 month contract is based in Maxville supports the Credit Department by handling various credit-related and administrative tasks. This role involves direct communication with customers, assisting with credit inquiries, and managing a small portfolio of accounts. The successful candidate will also play a key role in maintaining department records and ensuring efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a designated group of accounts, ensuring timely follow-ups and payment collection.
  • Conduct credit checks and compile files for new accounts for review by the Credit Manager.
  • Manage daily correspondence via email, phone, and internal systems, responding to inquiries and directing messages appropriately.
  • Accurately input new customer accounts and update existing records in the system.
  • Act as a point of contact for Customer Service Representatives and Division Managers regarding credit-related matters.
  • Monitor the department’s public email inbox, forwarding messages to the appropriate teams.
  • Distribute credit-related correspondence upon request from different divisions.
  • Assist with annual budgeting tasks and respond to budget-related inquiries.
  • Provide backup support for the Cash Application role, including handling deposits and reconciling payments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer interactions professionally.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical decision-making.
