Are you looking for a job that will take you to the heart of the action? As a security guard in the event industry, you will ensure the safety of participants and the smooth running of events. GardaWorld is looking to hire licensed Security Guards for our Special Events and Projects Team throughout the GTA.

What does a Security Guard in Events do?

  • Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property 
  • Monitor access of entryways and exit points 
  • Conduct preventive surveillance rounds  
  • Point of contact with authorities and emergency services 
  • Screening, crowd control, executive protection, escorts, guard in car coverages, asset protection, black suit/ high end coverages

Qualifications to become a Security Guard for Events

  • Valid Security Guard Licence
  • Valid G/ G2 Licence
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Smart Serve
  • Tactical Experience (6 moths or better)
  • Event Experience (3 months or better)
  • Must have a car and willing to travel to various locations.

Certifications:

  • Crisis intervention certification is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Military experience is certainly an asset but not mandatory.
