We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist, with experience manufacturing industry for our client in Mississauga. The role will involve some frontline recruitment for general labour production line roles. The ideal candidate is familiar with the Mississauga and Brampton hiring markets and has experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Please Note: This role is a 6 month contract with possibility of extension.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for salaried technical roles (engineering, technical sales, electrical) and some frontline (GL) positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates through various channels, ensuring an efficient and effective hiring process.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for both current and future hiring needs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews, including scheduling with hiring managers and providing candidate feedback.
  • Extend job offers, negotiate salaries, and facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
  • Utilize recruitment metrics to track progress and optimize hiring strategies.
  • Stay updated on hiring trends in the Mississauga and Brampton markets.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
  • Experience recruiting for technical manufacturing roles (engineers, technical sales, electrical).
  • Familiarity with frontline recruitment (GL - production line), though hourly hiring will be minimal.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mississauga and Brampton hiring markets.
  • Ability to work onsite 3 days/week initially, with the potential to scale back to 2 days/week.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
