As a Corporate Security Supervisor , there is a high focus on customer service  and  uninterrupted Security operations , since you will be leading a team of  Security guards and ensure seamless security operations for your site. You will be working with people all shift, in a high-profile Corporate environment

Responsibilities for Corporate Security Supervisor

  • Maintain a safe and Secure environment
  • Plan, direct and ensure the smooth running of operations at the client's site 
  • Develop and implement procedures and policies for security operations 
  • Maintain protection systems for fire, theft and other disasters 
  • Create site schedules and track training of all staff
  • Ensure the availability of emergency equipment 
  • Make suggestions to improve and optimize the security service 
  • Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
  • Performing Patrol ( Interior and Exterior ) at the Premises (Stairwells, Hallways and Common Areas )regularly to maintain order and establish presence
  • Ensure identified doors are locked and Secured.
  • Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
  • Respond to any complaints from visitors of staff including response and corrective action
  • Observing and reporting any issues, deficiency or incident that occurs on the site
  • Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault and other safety issues.
  • Complete Daily reports, maintenance log and Incident Reports.
  • Provide Excellent customer service.
  • Maintain good staff relationship.
  • Being first contact for Emergency responders.
  • Daily monitoring of CCTV.
  • Documentation of systems.

Qualifications for Concierge Security Supervisor

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold  valid Manitoba  security license
  • First aid certification an asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience as a Security Supervisor in a high profile site (asset)
  • 1 to 3 years experience in personnel management in a unionized environment 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English) 
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and make decision 
  • Process orientated approach
