Agilus is recruiting for a Business Development Specialist, Key Accounts in the Compressor's Industry in Edmonton, Alberta. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while maintaining and nurturing relationships with our most valuable clients. The ideal candidate will possess a unique combination of strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and customer relationship expertise. A typical day: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet sales and revenue targets Conduct market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and competitive analysis Develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s market presence and brand recognition Proactively network and establish connections with potential clients through various channels (e.g., events, cold outreach, referrals). Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships Develop customized solutions and proposals to address clients’ needs and challenges Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Ensure timely delivery of services/products and resolve any client issues promptly Successful candidates will have: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key client relationships Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite Total rewards: Full-time Permanent Opportunity Comprehensive Insurance Plans Vacation Pay Competitive Base Salary Ability to Earn Commissions
