The Department of Natural Resources is responsible for the development, management, conservation and protection of forest, mineral, parks and wildlife resources and the administration of the province's Crown land. The Geoscience and Mines Branch of the Department of Natural Resources manages mineral resources to achieve optimum economic, social, and environmental value for Nova Scotia. Within the Branch, the Mineral Management Division includes, amongst others, a team which manages the Registry of Mineral and Petroleum Titles (the Registry).

As the Coordinator of Mineral & Petroleum Titles, you will report to the Manager, Registry of Mineral and Petroleum Titles and provide expertise in mineral rights management and regulation in the Province of Nova Scotia. In this role, you will participate in the administration of the Mineral Resources Act and Regulations. You will build and maintain relationships within the Geoscience and Mines Branch, the Department of Natural Resources, other government departments and jurisdictions, and industry stake and rights holders.

Normal work week is 35 hours/week, 7 hours/day.
May be required to work overtime on occasion.
Pay Grade: PR 13
Salary Range: $2,556.10 - $3,107.16 Bi-Weekly
