Job Summary: As Vice President, Business Initiative Delivery, you will be a key member of the Capital Markets Initiatives and Project Delivery team, closely aligned with the priorities of Capital Markets senior leaders. Your key responsibilities include managing and implementing strategic business initiatives that deliver incremental revenue opportunities and efficiencies for Capital Markets.
Opportunity:
- Operate within the Capital Markets Chief Operating Officer’s group.
- Provide vision to drive strategic business initiatives by assessing risks, financial returns, and strategy.
- Collaborate with global Capital Markets groups, Global Markets sales and trading desks, and Investment & Corporate Banking to deliver strategic initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders, including senior levels, to achieve business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Influence the pace of new initiatives, structures, or products to market by leading the end-to-end process.
- Provide recommendations and information to senior-level business partners regarding the implementation of strategic initiatives, transaction structuring, product development, and the remediation or development of infrastructure capabilities.
- Join a team of dynamic professionals with diverse expertise in Capital Markets, Global Markets, and Investment Banking, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, manage, and facilitate initiatives for new Capital Market strategies, products, or transactions, including strategic, financial, regulatory, or risk assessments.
- Lead the delivery of business development initiatives aimed at increasing revenue and/or productivity within these sectors.
- Enhance execution efficiency from the idea stage to implementation and benefits realization.
- Build and maintain strong global relationships to support effective execution of the business mandate.
- Collaborate closely with various business groups within Capital Markets and other stakeholders, such as Market Risk, Technology, and Operations, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Interpret and apply Bank policies, corporate standards, directives, guidelines, and processes to improve delivery predictability and ensure compliance.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years in business initiative delivery in Capital Markets.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets products, infrastructure, and processes.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, financial pricing models, and derivative valuation.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters.
- Self-starting, results-oriented, and highly motivated individual
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Effective influencing and change management skills for execution efficiency.
Compensation:
- The base salary range for this role based in Toronto is $125,000 - $140,000 CAD.

Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
